The study will examine the challenges faced by elderly patients in accessing traditional healthcare services and investigate how telehealth interventions can bridge the gap and improve health outcomes. The research will begin with a comprehensive review of the existing literature on telehealth, chronic conditions management, and healthcare access for elderly populations in rural settings. Through a systematic literature review, this study will identify key themes, trends, and gaps in the current research landscape to establish a foundation for the empirical investigation. Methodologically, this research will adopt a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with elderly patients, healthcare providers, and telehealth specialists.
