Telehealth has emerged as a promising tool in healthcare delivery, particularly in managing chronic diseases among geriatric patients. This systematic review aims to evaluate the impact of telehealth interventions on chronic disease management in the geriatric population. The review will explore existing literature on telehealth initiatives targeting geriatric patients with chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. By synthesizing and analyzing the findings of relevant studies, this review seeks to provide insights into the effectiveness of telehealth in improving health outcomes, enhancing patient engagement, and reducing healthcare costs in this vulnerable population. The review will be structured using a systematic approach to identify, select, and critically appraise relevant studies from electronic databases, grey literature, and reference lists. The inclusion criteria will focus on studies published in the last ten years, written in English, and reporting on telehealth interventions for chronic disease management in geriatric patients. Data extraction will involve collecting information on study design, sample characteristics, telehealth interventions used, outcomes assessed, and key findings.
