Telehealth, a rapidly evolving aspect of healthcare delivery, has the potential to transform the management of chronic diseases in elderly patients. This research study aims to investigate the impact of telehealth interventions on the management of chronic diseases in the elderly population. The study will explore how telehealth technologies can improve access to care, enhance patient outcomes, and reduce healthcare costs for elderly individuals with chronic conditions. A mixed-methods approach will be utilized, incorporating both quantitative analysis of patient data and qualitative interviews with healthcare providers and patients. The research will be guided by a conceptual framework that considers the various factors influencing the adoption and effectiveness of telehealth in chronic disease management among the elderly. The findings of this study are expected to contribute valuable insights to the growing body of literature on telehealth and chronic disease management, informing healthcare policies and practices aimed at improving care for elderly patients with chronic conditions.
