The use of music therapy as a complementary intervention in healthcare settings has gained attention for its potential to alleviate pain and improve patient outcomes. This research project aimed to investigate the impact of music therapy on pain management in pediatric patients through a randomized controlled trial. The study design involved a sample of pediatric patients aged 5-12 years admitted to a pediatric hospital for various medical conditions requiring pain management. The participants were randomly assigned to either the music therapy group or the control group, with pain levels assessed before and after the intervention using standardized pain assessment tools.
