Abstract
Telehealth has emerged as a promising method to improve healthcare delivery, particularly in managing chronic conditions among elderly patients. This research study investigates the effectiveness and patient satisfaction associated with the use of telehealth in managing chronic conditions among elderly individuals. The study aims to address the growing need for innovative healthcare solutions that can cater to the specific needs of the elderly population, especially those with chronic health issues. The research is structured into five main chapters. Chapter One provides an introduction to the study, including the background of the research, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and the structure of the research. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive review of the literature related to telehealth, chronic conditions management, and patient satisfaction, highlighting key findings and gaps in existing research. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology, including the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, and potential limitations. Chapter Four presents a detailed discussion of the research findings, focusing on the effectiveness of telehealth in managing chronic conditions among elderly patients and their level of satisfaction with the telehealth services. The study reveals that telehealth interventions have the potential to enhance the management of chronic conditions among elderly patients by providing remote access to healthcare services, monitoring health parameters, facilitating communication with healthcare providers, and promoting self-management practices. Moreover, the research findings indicate high levels of patient satisfaction with telehealth services, highlighting the convenience, accessibility, and personalized care offered through telehealth platforms. In conclusion, this research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on the use of telehealth in managing chronic conditions among elderly patients. The findings underscore the importance of incorporating telehealth technologies into healthcare systems to improve the quality of care and enhance patient outcomes, particularly for the elderly population with chronic health issues.
