Telehealth, a rapidly evolving technological innovation, has shown promising potential in transforming healthcare delivery, particularly in the management of chronic diseases among elderly patients. This systematic review aims to explore and analyze the impact of telehealth on chronic disease management in the elderly population. The study will critically evaluate existing literature on the subject to provide a comprehensive understanding of the effectiveness, challenges, and implications of telehealth interventions in this specific demographic group. The introduction section of this research provides a background of the study, outlining the rising prevalence of chronic diseases among the elderly and the increasing importance of innovative solutions such as telehealth to address the complexities of managing these conditions. The problem statement highlights the gaps in current healthcare systems that telehealth can potentially fill, emphasizing the need for a systematic review to synthesize the existing evidence on the topic.
