Abstract
Telehealth, the delivery of healthcare services remotely using technology, has emerged as a promising tool in the management of chronic diseases. This systematic review aims to investigate the impact of telehealth on patient outcomes in chronic disease management. The study will explore the existing literature to evaluate the effectiveness of telehealth interventions in improving patient outcomes such as disease control, quality of life, and healthcare utilization. Chapter one provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. Chapter two presents a comprehensive literature review, analyzing ten key studies that have investigated the impact of telehealth on patient outcomes in chronic disease management. Chapter three outlines the research methodology, including the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, and limitations of the study. The chapter also describes the inclusion and exclusion criteria used to select relevant studies for the systematic review. In chapter four, the findings of the systematic review are discussed in detail. The chapter presents a synthesis of the key findings from the selected studies, highlighting the impact of telehealth interventions on various patient outcomes in chronic disease management.
