This research study investigates the impact of virtual reality (VR) technology on pain management in pediatric patients from a nursing perspective. The utilization of VR technology as a non-pharmacological intervention for pain management has gained significant attention in healthcare settings, particularly in pediatric care where managing pain effectively is crucial. This research aims to explore the effectiveness of VR technology in reducing pain perception and improving overall patient experience in pediatric populations. The introduction provides an overview of the growing interest in VR technology as a complementary approach to traditional pain management strategies. The background of the study highlights the prevalence of pain in pediatric patients and the challenges associated with pharmacological interventions.
