Telehealth has emerged as a promising solution to bridge the gap in healthcare access for rural communities. This study aims to investigate the impact of telehealth on patient outcomes in rural areas, using a comparative approach to evaluate its effectiveness in improving healthcare delivery. The research will focus on assessing key indicators such as patient satisfaction, health outcomes, cost-effectiveness, and access to care in rural communities that have implemented telehealth services compared to those without such services. The methodology will involve a mixed-methods approach, including surveys, interviews, and data analysis to gather quantitative and qualitative data from healthcare providers, patients, and stakeholders in rural communities. A comparative analysis will be conducted to identify the differences in patient outcomes between communities with and without telehealth services. Additionally, factors influencing the adoption and implementation of telehealth in rural areas will be explored to provide insights into the challenges and opportunities associated with telehealth deployment. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the existing body of knowledge on telehealth in rural healthcare settings.
