Telehealth has emerged as a valuable tool in the healthcare sector, offering innovative ways to deliver care to patients in various settings, including home care nursing. This research study aims to investigate the impact of telehealth on patient outcomes in home care nursing. The study will explore how the implementation of telehealth technologies influences patient outcomes, such as health outcomes, satisfaction levels, and healthcare utilization patterns. The research will be guided by a mixed-methods approach, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. A systematic literature review will be conducted to provide a comprehensive overview of the existing evidence on telehealth in home care nursing. Additionally, primary data will be collected through surveys and interviews with home care nurses, patients, and other relevant stakeholders. Chapter One of the study will provide an introduction to the research topic, background information, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two will present a detailed literature review encompassing ten key themes related to telehealth in home care nursing. The review will explore the benefits, challenges, and outcomes associated with telehealth interventions in this context. Chapter Three will outline the research methodology, including research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, and ethical considerations. This chapter will also describe the study population, data collection tools, and data analysis techniques that will be employed in the research. Chapter Four will present the findings of the study, analyzing the impact of telehealth on patient outcomes in home care nursing based on the data collected. The chapter will discuss the implications of the findings for clinical practice, policy development, and future research in the field of telehealth and home care nursing. Finally, Chapter Five will offer a conclusion and summary of the research project, highlighting the key findings, implications, and recommendations for practice. The chapter will also discuss the limitations of the study and suggest areas for future research to further explore the impact of telehealth on patient outcomes in home care nursing. Overall, this research study aims to contribute to the growing body of evidence on the use of telehealth in home care nursing and provide valuable insights into how telehealth technologies can enhance patient outcomes in this setting.
