Project Abstract

Abstract
Marine microorganisms present a vast and relatively unexplored resource for the discovery of novel antimicrobial compounds. In this research project, the antimicrobial properties of marine microorganisms will be investigated with the aim of identifying potential sources of new antimicrobial agents. The study will involve the isolation and characterization of marine microorganisms from various marine environments, followed by screening for antimicrobial activity against a panel of pathogenic microorganisms.
