Project Abstract

The emergence of antimicrobial resistance poses a significant threat to public health worldwide, highlighting the urgent need for alternative antimicrobial agents. In this study, we aimed to investigate the antimicrobial properties of plant extracts against pathogenic bacteria as a potential solution to combat this growing problem. The research focused on a diverse range of plant species known for their traditional medicinal uses and potential antimicrobial properties. The study commenced with a comprehensive literature review to explore previous research on plant extracts and their antimicrobial activities.
