The rise of drug-resistant bacteria poses a significant challenge to global public health, highlighting the urgent need for novel antimicrobial strategies. This research project focuses on exploring the potential antimicrobial properties of natural compounds as alternative treatments against drug-resistant bacteria. The study aims to investigate the efficacy of various natural compounds in inhibiting the growth of drug-resistant bacterial strains through laboratory experiments and analysis. The research begins with an extensive review of the existing literature on natural compounds and their antimicrobial activities against drug-resistant bacteria. This literature review encompasses ten key aspects, including the mechanisms of action of natural compounds, previous studies on their antimicrobial effects, and potential synergistic interactions with conventional antibiotics. The methodology section outlines the experimental approach employed in this study, including the selection and preparation of natural compounds, the cultivation of drug-resistant bacterial strains, and the assessment of antimicrobial activity through various assays. Additionally, the research methodology includes details on data collection, analysis techniques, and statistical methods used to evaluate the results. The findings from this research project are discussed in chapter four, which presents a comprehensive analysis of the efficacy of natural compounds against drug-resistant bacteria. The discussion covers seven key points, such as the identification of the most potent natural compounds, the mechanisms underlying their antimicrobial activity, and the potential implications for future treatment strategies.
