In resource-limited settings, the burden of infectious diseases remains a significant challenge to public health. Timely and accurate diagnosis plays a crucial role in effective disease management and treatment outcomes. Rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs) have emerged as a promising solution to address the limitations of traditional diagnostic methods in these settings. This research project aims to analyze the impact of RDTs on the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases in resource-limited settings. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, delving into the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of terms.
