This project is research/design work aimed at modifying other types of floor tiles moulding machine to a less complicated and cost efficient type that will be AC powered. The project is also aimed at explaining all the process involved in carrying out the design and fabrication of the floor tile moulding machines. Also its primary objective is aimed at producing floor material at a lesser cost compared to the other floor materials. It is made into five chapters in which the introduction objectives were contained in chapter one. Chapter two in the literature review under which is the historical development. Principles and types of floor tiles that were used, those still in used were explained. Chapter three, four and five, design solution of materials and types of hand and machine tools. Table of floor tiles list design analysis and calculations were explained. Also the construction materials equipment used for the construction of the floor tiles moulding machine mode of operation services and maintenance, general finishing and safety precaution observed during the design and constructions, performance test, result recommendations and conclusion drawn from the study were fully explained in these chapters.
