Abstract
This research study investigates the influence of bilingualism on cognitive processing in young children. The phenomenon of bilingualism has gained increasing attention in recent years due to its potential effects on cognitive development. The primary objective of this study is to examine how bilingualism impacts cognitive processing abilities in children, particularly focusing on areas such as memory, attention, and problem-solving skills. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, including background information on bilingualism and the problem statement that guides the study. The objectives of the research are outlined, along with the limitations and scope of the study. The significance of the study is also discussed, highlighting the importance of understanding how bilingualism can shape cognitive processes in children.
