Project Abstract

This project is a comprehensive investigation into the linguistic diversity of indigenous languages in the context of an increasingly globalized world. As globalization continues to shape the social, economic, and cultural landscapes of communities worldwide, there is a growing concern about the preservation and sustainability of indigenous languages. These languages, often rooted in ancient traditions and intrinsically linked to the cultural identity of their speakers, face a multitude of challenges in the face of dominant, globally-reaching languages. The primary objective of this project is to document, analyze, and promote the understanding of the linguistic diversity of indigenous languages, while also examining the impact of globalization on their preservation and evolution.
