This research study investigates the user perceptions and preferences within academic library spaces, focusing on the case study of XYZ University Library. The aim is to understand how users interact with and utilize library spaces, and how these perceptions influence their overall experience and satisfaction. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather data from library users. Chapter One introduces the research by providing an overview of the background of the study, highlighting the importance of understanding user perceptions in library spaces, and presenting the research problem statement. The objectives of the study are outlined, along with the limitations and scope of the research.
