This research project focuses on exploring and evaluating digital preservation strategies that can effectively safeguard and provide access to valuable cultural heritage materials within library collections. The study begins with an examination of the challenges and complexities associated with preserving digital cultural heritage materials, including issues such as format obsolescence, technological dependencies, and resource constraints. Through a comprehensive literature review, the research identifies and analyzes ten key digital preservation strategies currently employed by libraries and cultural institutions worldwide. These strategies encompass a range of approaches, including emulation, migration, metadata management, and digital rights management, among others.
