This research project aims to investigate the potential benefits and challenges of implementing AI in libraries to improve efficiency and accuracy in cataloging and classification tasks. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study and highlighting the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and key definitions of terms.
