<p> This study aims to evaluate the pivotal role of libraries in disaster preparedness and recovery, examining their contributions to community resilience, information dissemination, and support services during and after disasters. By investigating the multifaceted involvement of libraries in disaster management, the research seeks to assess the effectiveness of library initiatives in enhancing community preparedness, response coordination, and long-term recovery efforts. Through a mixed-methods approach, including case studies, stakeholder interviews, and comparative analysis, the study will explore the evolving role of libraries in disaster resilience, aiming to provide practical insights and recommendations for strengthening the capacity of libraries to serve as vital resources in disaster-affected communities. <br></p>

This study seeks to comprehensively evaluate the multifaceted contributions of libraries in disaster management, aiming to assess their effectiveness in enhancing community resilience, information dissemination, and support services during and after disasters.</div><div>The introduction of this research provides a contextual background of the study, outlining the significance of evaluating the role of libraries in disaster preparedness and recovery. By defining key terms and establishing the scope and objectives of the study, the introduction aims to provide a clear framework for the subsequent exploration of the pivotal role of libraries in disaster resilience and community support.</div><div>Central to this research is the investigation of the role of libraries in disaster preparedness, encompassing their functions as community information hubs, providers of outreach and education initiatives for disaster awareness, and collaborators in building partnerships and networks for preparedness. The study also aims to explore the involvement of libraries in disaster response and recovery, including their support in information access and communication, provision of psychological and social support services, and preservation and access to cultural heritage materials during and after disasters.</div><div>Moreover, the research endeavors to evaluate the effectiveness of library initiatives in disaster management, including case studies of library engagement in disaster response, stakeholder perspectives on library contributions, and impact assessment to derive valuable lessons learned from past experiences.</div><div>Furthermore, the study aspires to identify strategies for strengthening library capacities for disaster resilience, encompassing best practices in library disaster preparedness, training and professional development for library staff, and policy recommendations for enhancing the role of libraries in disaster management.</div><div>By comprehensively evaluating the role of libraries in disaster preparedness and recovery, this research aims to inform and guide library professionals, disaster management agencies, and policymakers in understanding the diverse contributions of libraries to community resilience and support during times of crisis, ultimately benefiting disaster-affected communities and enhancing the capacity of libraries to serve as vital resources in disaster management and recovery efforts.</div></div><div><div><div><div><div></div></div><div><div></div></div></div><div><div><div></div></div><div><div></div></div><div><div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div><div><br> </div></div><br><p></p>
