The advancement of digital technologies has revolutionized the landscape of education, including Library Science Education. This research project aims to assess the impact of digital technologies on information literacy skills in Library Science Education. The study acknowledges the importance of information literacy skills in the field of library science, highlighting the need for librarians and library science students to navigate the digital world effectively. Through a comprehensive literature review, the project explores the existing literature on information literacy, digital technologies, and their intersection in library science education. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of terms. Chapter Two delves into a detailed literature review, covering ten key areas related to information literacy skills, digital technologies, and their impact on library science education. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology employed in this study, including research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, and limitations of the methodology. The chapter also discusses the theoretical framework guiding the research and the rationale behind the chosen methodology. In Chapter Four, the findings of the research are presented and discussed in detail. The chapter explores the impact of digital technologies on information literacy skills in Library Science Education, examining how these technologies have influenced the teaching and learning processes in library science programs.
