This research study aims to explore the impact of technology on library services and user engagement in academic libraries. The study will investigate how technological innovations have transformed traditional library services and enhanced user experiences. Through a comprehensive literature review, the research will examine the various technologies that have been adopted by academic libraries to improve service delivery and engage users effectively. Chapter One of the research will provide an introduction to the study, present the background of the research, define the problem statement, outline the objectives of the study, discuss the limitations and scope of the research, highlight the significance of the study, and present the structure of the research. Additionally, key terms relevant to the research will be defined to provide clarity and understanding. Chapter Two will focus on a thorough literature review, exploring ten key areas related to the impact of technology on library services and user engagement in academic libraries. The review will cover topics such as the evolution of library services, technological tools and resources used in libraries, user behavior and preferences in the digital age, and the role of technology in enhancing library services. Chapter Three will delve into the research methodology employed in the study.
