Technology integration has become an integral part of modern education, including library science education. This research project aims to explore the impact of technology integration in library science education, focusing on how technology is utilized, its benefits and challenges, and its influence on teaching and learning processes within library science programs. The study seeks to investigate the current practices, perceptions, and experiences of educators and students regarding the integration of technology in library science education. The research will be conducted using a mixed-methods approach, with both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. Surveys and interviews will be used to gather information from library science educators and students to gain insights into their perspectives on technology integration. The data collected will be analyzed using statistical tools and thematic analysis to identify patterns, trends, and relationships in the data. The literature review will provide a comprehensive overview of existing research on technology integration in education, particularly in the context of library science education. It will explore the various technologies commonly used in library science programs, the benefits and challenges associated with technology integration, and best practices for implementing technology in educational settings. The research methodology will outline the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, and data analysis procedures that will be employed in the study. It will also discuss the ethical considerations that will guide the research process, ensuring the confidentiality and anonymity of participants. The findings of the study will be presented and discussed in Chapter Four, providing a detailed analysis of the data collected. The results will highlight the perceived impact of technology integration in library science education, including its benefits in enhancing teaching and learning experiences, improving information access and retrieval, and fostering collaboration and communication among students and educators. In conclusion, the research project will offer insights into the current state of technology integration in library science education and its implications for educators, students, and educational institutions. The study will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on technology integration in education and provide recommendations for enhancing the integration of technology in library science programs.
