The utilization of digital libraries has transformed the landscape of information access and dissemination in educational institutions, particularly among college students. This research study aims to investigate the impact of digital libraries on information literacy skills among college students. Information literacy is a crucial skill set that enables individuals to effectively navigate, evaluate, and utilize information in various formats. The shift towards digital libraries has raised questions about how this transition influences the development of information literacy skills among college students. The research will begin with a comprehensive exploration of the background of the study, highlighting the evolution of digital libraries and their significance in the context of information literacy education. The problem statement will outline the gaps in existing literature and identify the need to examine the relationship between digital libraries and information literacy skills.
