In the digital age, technology plays a significant role in shaping educational practices, including those in Library Science Education. This research aims to investigate the impact of technology integration on information literacy skills among students studying Library Science. Information literacy is a critical skill that enables individuals to navigate, evaluate, and effectively use information from various sources. The study will explore how technology tools and resources can enhance information literacy instruction and learning outcomes in the field of Library Science Education. The research will be guided by a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data analysis with qualitative insights to provide a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between technology integration and information literacy skills. A sample of students and educators from Library Science programs will be selected to participate in surveys, interviews, and observations to gather data on their experiences with technology use and information literacy development. Chapter 1 will provide an introduction to the research topic, background information on technology integration and information literacy in Library Science Education, a problem statement highlighting the gap in current research, research objectives, study limitations, scope, significance, structure, and key definitions. Chapter 2 will present a thorough review of the literature, examining existing studies on technology integration and information literacy skills in educational settings. Chapter 3 will outline the research methodology, including the research design, sampling techniques, data collection methods, and data analysis procedures. The chapter will also discuss ethical considerations and potential limitations of the research methodology. Chapter 4 will present the findings of the study, analyzing the data collected and discussing the implications for technology integration in Library Science Education and information literacy instruction. The research findings will be discussed in light of the existing literature, highlighting the contributions to the field and suggesting recommendations for future research and practice. Chapter 5 will provide a conclusion and summary of the research, emphasizing the key findings, implications, and potential areas for further exploration. Overall, this research aims to contribute to the understanding of how technology can be effectively integrated into Library Science Education to enhance information literacy skills among students.
