This research study examines the impact of AI on the legal profession, focusing on the challenges and opportunities that arise as AI technologies become more prevalent in legal practice. The objective of this research is to provide a comprehensive analysis of how AI is reshaping the legal landscape, identify key challenges faced by legal professionals, and explore the opportunities that AI presents for improving legal services and efficiency. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, discussing the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure, and definition of key terms. The chapter sets the stage for the subsequent chapters by outlining the importance of understanding the implications of AI on the legal profession. Chapter Two consists of a detailed literature review that explores existing research and insights on AI in the legal sector. Ten key themes are examined, including the evolution of AI in law, applications of AI in legal practice, ethical considerations, and the impact on legal professionals and clients.
