The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has revolutionized various industries, including the legal sector. This research explores the impact of AI on legal decision-making processes and its implications for the legal profession. The study delves into the ways in which AI tools and algorithms are being utilized in legal settings to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and access to justice. Through a comprehensive literature review, this research identifies key trends, challenges, and opportunities associated with the integration of AI in legal decision-making. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, offering a background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure, and definitions of key terms. Chapter Two presents a detailed literature review comprising ten key themes related to AI in legal decision-making processes. This chapter examines existing research, frameworks, and case studies to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of AI adoption in the legal field. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology employed in this study, including research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, and data analysis procedures. The chapter also discusses ethical considerations and limitations inherent in the research process. Chapter Four presents the findings of the study, analyzing the impact of AI on legal decision-making processes through seven key dimensions. The chapter critically evaluates the benefits and challenges associated with AI implementation in legal settings. In Chapter Five, the research concludes with a summary of key findings, implications for practice, and recommendations for future research.
