This research aims to investigate the impact of agricultural extension services on sustainable livelihoods in rural communities, focusing on how these services contribute to economic development, food security, and overall well-being of rural residents. The study will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather data from farmers, extension workers, and community members in selected rural areas. Chapter One of the research provides an introduction to the study, including the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two presents an extensive literature review on agricultural extension services, sustainable livelihoods, and their interplay in rural settings.
