This research study aims to investigate the impact of sustainable agricultural practices on household income in rural communities. Sustainable agricultural practices have gained increasing attention in recent years due to their potential to improve environmental sustainability, economic viability, and social equity in agriculture. The study will focus on rural communities where agriculture plays a significant role in the livelihoods of the residents. The research will be conducted using a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather data on sustainable agricultural practices and household income levels. Chapter one provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definitions of key terms. Chapter two presents a comprehensive literature review on sustainable agricultural practices, their impact on household income, and existing studies in this field. The literature review will cover ten key points to provide a thorough understanding of the subject. Chapter three details the research methodology, including the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, and the limitations of the study. The chapter will also discuss the selection criteria for rural communities and households to ensure the representativeness of the sample. Chapter four presents the findings of the research, analyzing the impact of sustainable agricultural practices on household income in rural communities.
