The focus of this research study is to evaluate the effects of sustainable agriculture practices on rural household incomes. Sustainable agriculture has become increasingly crucial in addressing environmental concerns while ensuring long-term food security and economic viability in rural communities. This research seeks to explore the relationship between sustainable agriculture practices and the income levels of rural households, aiming to provide valuable insights into sustainable agricultural interventions that can enhance income generation in rural areas. The research methodology involves a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data analysis with qualitative assessments to comprehensively evaluate the impact of sustainable agriculture practices on rural household incomes. Data will be collected through surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions with rural households engaged in various sustainable agriculture practices. Additionally, secondary data sources will be utilized to provide a broader context for the analysis. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research, outlining the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms.
