Abstract
This research study aims to investigate the impact of sustainable farming practices on household income within rural communities. Sustainable farming practices have gained significant attention in recent years due to their potential to enhance environmental conservation, improve livelihoods, and foster overall economic development in rural areas. The study will focus on assessing how the adoption of sustainable farming practices influences household income levels in rural communities, with a specific emphasis on factors such as crop diversification, organic farming techniques, and efficient resource management. The research will be conducted using a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data analysis and qualitative assessments to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. A survey questionnaire will be administered to a sample of households in selected rural communities to collect data on their farming practices, income sources, and overall economic well-being. Additionally, in-depth interviews and focus group discussions will be conducted with key stakeholders, including local farmers, agricultural extension officers, and community leaders, to gain insights into the challenges and opportunities associated with sustainable farming practices. The literature review will provide a comprehensive analysis of existing studies and theories related to sustainable farming practices, rural development, and household income dynamics.
