By examining the historical contexts of colonial rule, the dynamics of cultural assimilation and resistance, and the ongoing processes of decolonization and cultural revitalization, this study seeks to unravel the multifaceted ways in which colonialism continues to influence the cultural landscapes of post-colonial societies. The research begins with an exploration of the historical background of colonialism, tracing the origins and consequences of colonial rule in various regions of the world. It investigates how colonial policies and practices shaped the cultural identities of indigenous populations, leading to the erosion of traditional values and the imposition of foreign norms and ideologies.
