This research project investigates the profound effects of colonialism on indigenous cultures in Africa and Asia, with a comparative analysis aiming to identify similarities and differences in the impacts experienced by these regions. The study delves into the historical context of colonialism and its lasting repercussions on the cultural identities, practices, and traditions of indigenous populations in Africa and Asia. Through a detailed examination of primary and secondary sources, including historical documents, academic literature, and testimonies from affected communities, this research seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of how colonial rule has shaped, transformed, and in some cases, threatened the cultural heritage of indigenous peoples. Chapter One lays the foundation for the research, beginning with an Introduction that outlines the significance of studying the impact of colonialism on indigenous cultures in Africa and Asia.
