Colonialism, with its enduring legacy of cultural, social, and economic implications, has left an indelible mark on indigenous cultures worldwide. This research study delves into the specific impact of colonialism on the diverse indigenous cultures of West Africa, exploring the multifaceted dimensions of this historical phenomenon. Through a comprehensive case study approach, the research aims to provide a nuanced understanding of how colonialism has shaped and transformed the cultural landscape of West Africa. The introductory section sets the stage by outlining the background of the study, identifying the problem statement, articulating the objectives of the research, highlighting the limitations, specifying the scope, underlining the significance, and detailing the structure of the study. Furthermore, key terminologies central to the research are defined to provide clarity and context.
