This research project aims to conduct a comparative study on the impact of colonialism on indigenous communities in Africa, focusing on the differences and similarities in the experiences of various regions. The study will delve into the historical context of colonial rule in Africa, examining the social, economic, and political consequences faced by indigenous populations as a result of foreign domination. The research will begin with an exploration of the introduction, providing an overview of the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure, and definition of terms. This will set the foundation for a comprehensive understanding of the colonial legacy in Africa. Chapter two will consist of a detailed literature review, analyzing existing scholarly works and theories related to the impact of colonialism on indigenous communities in Africa.
