Project Abstract

This project aims to explore the complex and often contentious relationship between globalization and the preservation of cultural diversity. In an era of unprecedented interconnectedness, where the flow of ideas, goods, and people across borders has accelerated, the project investigates the ways in which this process has both enriched and threatened the unique cultural heritage of societies around the world. Globalization, with its promise of economic prosperity and cross-cultural exchange, has undoubtedly brought about significant changes in the way individuals and communities interact with one another. While this has facilitated the sharing of knowledge, art, and traditions, it has also led to the homogenization of cultural practices, often at the expense of local customs and traditions.
