Abstract
The prevalence of stress among college athletes has raised concerns about their mental and physical well-being. Mindfulness training has emerged as a promising intervention for stress management, with potential benefits for athletes facing the demands of high-performance sports and academic responsibilities. This study aimed to investigate the impact of mindfulness training on stress management among college athletes through a randomized controlled trial. The research design involved a sample of college athletes randomly assigned to either a mindfulness training group or a control group. The mindfulness training group received a structured program focused on cultivating present-moment awareness and non-judgmental acceptance of their experiences. Stress levels were assessed using standardized measures before and after the intervention to evaluate the effectiveness of mindfulness training in reducing stress among college athletes.
