Abstract
This research study aims to investigate the impact of mindfulness-based interventions on anxiety levels among college students through a randomized controlled trial. Anxiety is a prevalent mental health concern among college students, often affecting their academic performance, social interactions, and overall well-being. Mindfulness-based interventions have shown promise in reducing anxiety levels and promoting psychological well-being in various populations, making them a potentially valuable resource for addressing anxiety in college students. The study will involve a randomized controlled trial design, with participants randomly assigned to either a mindfulness intervention group or a control group. The mindfulness intervention will consist of mindfulness-based practices such as meditation, breathing exercises, and body scans, delivered over a defined period.
