This research focuses on the geophysical imaging of methane hydrate deposits in marine sediments. Methane hydrates, a potential future energy resource, are ice-like compounds of methane and water found in subsurface environments. The study aims to use geophysical methods such as seismic reflection, electromagnetic surveys, and well logging to characterize methane hydrate distribution, estimate resource potential, and assess environmental implications in marine sedimentary basins.
