Climate change is a global phenomenon that is significantly impacting coastal communities worldwide, leading to various environmental, social, and economic challenges. This research study focuses on exploring the specific impacts of climate change on coastal communities, with a case study conducted in a selected coastal area. The objective of this study is to investigate the effects of climate change on the environment and livelihoods of coastal communities, analyze the vulnerability and adaptation strategies employed by these communities, and assess the effectiveness of current policies and interventions in mitigating the impacts of climate change. The research methodology employed in this study includes a mix of qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data collection methods will involve surveys, interviews, and field observations to gather information on the current state of the coastal area, the experiences of local residents, and the existing adaptation measures in place. The collected data will be analyzed using statistical tools and qualitative analysis techniques to draw meaningful conclusions and insights. The literature review section of this study presents a comprehensive analysis of existing research and scholarly work on climate change impacts on coastal communities.
