The impact of social media on mental health has become a subject of increasing concern, particularly among the younger demographic who are heavy users of these platforms. This study aims to explore the various dimensions of this relationship, shedding light on both the positive and negative effects that social media can have on the mental well-being of young adults. The research begins with a comprehensive introduction that sets the stage for the study, providing background information on the prevalence of social media use among young adults and its potential implications for mental health. The problem statement highlights the need to address the growing concerns surrounding the mental health challenges faced by young adults in the digital age.
