This research study aims to investigate the impact of social media on mental health from a cross-cultural perspective. The study will explore how the use of social media platforms influences mental health outcomes, such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and overall well-being, among individuals in diverse cultural contexts. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the research. Additionally, key terms relevant to the study are defined to establish a clear understanding of the research context.
