This research project aims to analyze the impact of social media on mental health and well-being, focusing on various aspects such as psychological well-being, self-esteem, stress, and overall mental health outcomes. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. The literature review in Chapter Two critically examines existing research on the relationship between social media use and mental health outcomes, highlighting key findings and identifying gaps in the current literature.
