By examining the current state of contemporary art practice, the research identifies the growing trend of artists incorporating digital tools and technologies into their creative processes. The primary objective of this research is to investigate how traditional art techniques and digital media can complement and enhance each other in the creation of artworks. Through a comprehensive literature review, ten key themes are identified that shed light on the ways in which artists are blending traditional and digital elements to push the boundaries of artistic expression. These themes encompass topics such as the role of technology in art creation, the impact of digital tools on artistic innovation, and the challenges of preserving traditional art practices in the digital age. In order to achieve this objective, a mixed-method research approach is adopted, combining qualitative interviews with artists and art scholars, as well as quantitative surveys to gather insights into the preferences and perceptions of both creators and audiences.
