The integration of traditional and digital art mediums in contemporary art practice has become a prominent trend in the art world, reflecting the evolving nature of artistic expression in the digital age. This research project aims to explore the intersection of traditional and digital art mediums, examining how artists are blending and experimenting with these diverse tools to create innovative and engaging artworks. Through a comprehensive literature review, this study investigates the historical background of traditional and digital art mediums, the challenges and opportunities they present, and the impact of technology on artistic practices. The research methodology involves a qualitative approach, utilizing interviews with artists, art historians, and curators to gain insights into their perspectives on the fusion of traditional and digital mediums. Additionally, observational studies of artworks that combine traditional and digital elements will be conducted to analyze the creative processes and techniques employed by artists. The findings from these investigations will be discussed in detail in Chapter Four, providing a critical analysis of the aesthetic, conceptual, and technical aspects of artworks that merge traditional and digital mediums.
