Plastic pollution has become a global environmental challenge, particularly in coastal areas where marine ecosystems are significantly affected. This research project investigates the specific impact of plastic pollution on marine ecosystems in a chosen coastal area and aims to provide valuable insights into the extent of the problem and potential solutions. The study focuses on understanding the sources of plastic pollution, its effects on marine biodiversity, and the overall health of the ecosystem. Through a comprehensive case study approach, data will be collected through field surveys, interviews with local stakeholders, and analysis of existing literature on plastic pollution in marine environments. The findings will shed light on the severity of plastic pollution in the selected coastal area and help identify key areas for intervention and mitigation strategies.
