Climate change is a pressing global issue that has significant implications for coastal regions, particularly in terms of increasing coastal erosion. This research project aims to investigate the impact of climate change on coastal erosion in a vulnerable coastal region through a detailed case study. The study focuses on understanding the various factors contributing to coastal erosion in the selected region and aims to provide valuable insights into the specific challenges faced by vulnerable coastal areas. The research project is structured into five main chapters. Chapter One provides an introduction to the study, outlining the background of the research, the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review, covering ten key aspects related to climate change, coastal erosion, and vulnerable coastal regions. Chapter Three details the research methodology, including the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, and ethical considerations. The research methodology is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the findings. Chapter Four delves into the discussion of the research findings, highlighting seven key aspects discovered through the study. Through the analysis of these findings, the research aims to provide a deeper understanding of the impact of climate change on coastal erosion in the selected region. Chapter Five serves as the conclusion and summary of the project research, drawing together the key insights and implications of the study. The conclusion also offers recommendations for future research and practical strategies to address the challenges posed by climate change-induced coastal erosion. This research project is significant in shedding light on the critical issue of coastal erosion exacerbated by climate change in vulnerable coastal regions. By providing a detailed case study, this research contributes to the existing body of knowledge on climate change impacts, particularly in coastal areas.
