The study will investigate current waste management practices, identify challenges and opportunities for improvement, and propose recommendations for enhancing sustainability in waste management processes. The research will be conducted through a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with residents, waste management authorities, and community stakeholders. Data collection will involve assessing waste generation rates, analyzing recycling rates, and evaluating the level of community participation in waste management activities. Additionally, interviews will be conducted to gather insights on perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors related to waste management practices. The literature review will provide a comprehensive overview of existing studies on sustainable waste management practices, highlighting best practices, challenges, and success factors in residential waste management.
