Wetlands play a crucial role in maintaining biodiversity and water quality, making their preservation and restoration essential for environmental sustainability. This research project focuses on assessing the effectiveness of wetland restoration in improving water quality and biodiversity. The study aims to investigate the impact of wetland restoration efforts on water quality parameters and biodiversity indicators. Through a comprehensive literature review, the research establishes the importance of wetlands in ecosystem functioning and the potential benefits of restoration activities. The methodology involves field surveys, water quality sampling, and biodiversity assessments in restored wetland sites compared to degraded or natural wetlands.
